Motion to approve an on-sale wine operating agreement with Springs Restaurant from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2013
Motion to approve Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson Engineers (who are handling the airport project) to proceed with the bid letting process for the airport improvements which include the turnaround areas at the ends of the runways-Catlett and Field
Motion to contract with CETEC Engineering Services, Inc. to conduct a hydrology and feasibility study for a potential new well and pumping station to be located in the southwest portion of Hot Springs. The full cost of the project would be $21,956. This information will be required for the City to be able to file an application to be on the State Water Plan by October 1, 2009. Inclusion into the State Water Plan will enable the City of Hot Springs to procure funding assistance for a well and possible tank project. (An additional supply source would greatly improve the water system’s capability to meet water demand. The current pumping capacity requires both stations to run over 90% of the time on peak days which poses great risk of water shortages in the event of a single malfunction.)-Catlett and Field
